Thanks for visiting the RBHS Color Guard website! This is a work in progress, check back often as things are a changing!

Yes the season just ended, but remember as one door closes, another opens.  With that we look towards 2008-2009. 

The annual Color Guard Workshops are right around the corner, taking place this year May 12 - 15 from 3:30pm - 5:30pm each day.

During this time prespective members will learn the basic flag tosses, spins and some dance in preparation for auditions for the 2008-2009 RBHS Color Guard.

Those interested or know of someone interested in being a part of the award winning Color Guard squad, auditions will be held on Friday, May 16th.

Rancho Bernardo 9th In The World! 

What an absolutly incredible week it was at WGI Championships. Rancho Bernardo landed in 10th after a great prelims performance and a score of 85.0.

The team came out in finals and had their best show of the year, scoring an 86.3, moving up a spot finishing ranked 9th in the world!!!

Here is what WGI wrote about Rancho Bernardo's performance at finals....

"Audiences always look forward to the antics of Rancho Bernardo High School (9th Place, 86.30). Their charming “Smile” show maybe its most subtle but deceptively complex program to date, beginning with an extended movement statement which invokes memories of Charlie Chaplain, then moving into a dizzying array of complex equipment tosses, tricks and exchanges. The highlight of the show was a very lengthy, “handsy” all-flag ensemble in vibrant shades of red. A great job by this large (a full company of 30 members!) and always entertaining guard!"

Fall Schedule Released 

The Fall schedule has been released and the dates are on the Calendar of Events page, please note this schedule is VERY tentative and is subject to change.  Final times will be announced at rehearsal.

Take notice of November 1st, you read it right, Rancho Bernardo is hosting a field show tournament on this date. More information will follow, please reserve that date, we will need volunteers!
